Marsy’s Law expands the right to be heard to include other hearings such as release, including arraignment, and plea. The reasoning behind WebOhio Revised Code Section 2930.07. Marsy’s Law also provides the right to privacy and the right to “reasonable protection from the accused or any person acting on behalf of the accused.” These rights may include the redaction of identifying information at the discretion of the prosecutor.
