WebMost of the well data in the Pennsylvania Groundwater Information System are from completion reports submitted by the water well drillers, and more than 55,000 records of field-located wells came from a U.S. Geological Survey database. Starting in the mid-1960s, drillers were sending paper water well completion reports to the bureau. WebThe database includes drinking water wells, irrigational wells, geothermal wells, and industrial wells. You can search the wells database by City/Town, Well ID, well type, date range, or the kind of work performed (e.g. “decommission,” “new well,” “replacement,” etc.). Records include well depth, construction, and location.
