WebD-Box is fantastic for the right movie, and I don't think Dunkirk is it. I went to Alien Covenant in the D-Box seats and I found it really enhanced the experience because of the movie itself. Lots of slight motion shots where the gentle movement of the chair complimented it, with only occasional rumbling to punctuate specific points. WebIf you want something a bit smaller that you can throw around in your bag, most hobby/craft stores sell unfinished wooden boxes that could probably hold a few sets of dice. It coordinates well with the events on screen, nothing really felt delayed to me. Ticket wise, it was about 17 bucks for a 3D matinee ticket, close to on par with a Dolby one for me.
