When it got pinhole in it I replaced it for $2,000 WebJul 26, 2014 · The issue is water pump. 90% sure one that one. Guessing your motor is between the yrs of 2007-2014. The fins in the pump are not flowing the coolant, they either broke or are chipped. Some pumps even use plastic fins in the cummins pump, horrible design causes lots of these issues. Just something to look into.
