I make the straps myself out of 1/8" mild steel. I use about .600 wide. Can't remember the length offhand but goes about 1/2" below the tower bore. If the bore diameter and base/cap width is the same, then youre good to go. Be sure to check for odd wear on the #1 cap. simply noise free
